Military
Dellmere has one of the most powerful militaries in all of Taarö, as their army is comprised of powerful spell casters that spend their time training with each other, challenging each other's rank with formal duels to determine who is a superior spell caster.
The Dellemerian army uses guerilla tactics with magic to effectively stop any invading force before it reaches their borders. Surrounding their nation is a magical barrier that keeps out any who would attempt to get in through non-designated areas.
Religion
Unlike many other empires, houses of worship do not receive any special protections from taxes under the law so there are far fewer of them in Dellmere than there are in, for example, The Holy Nathic Empire.
Regardless worship still takes place, and it is more likely than not to be either of Alni or Tanir, due to Alni's affinity for honorable combat and Tanir's proficiency with magic.
Trade & Transport
Dellmere heavily regulates all trade that goes on across the borders of the empire, though trade is not very heavily regulated within the empire. They do allow the traders that pass through on the "Great Road".
Any goods that come into the empire will have to be marked by the Watchman that is present at the gate. If a Watchman finds and non-marked goods within the possession of someone leaving Dellmere then they will be arrested by the Watchmen.
Education
The schooling system is quite intense for an outsider. Students are taken, at ages 3 to 5 and are taken into the system. Taught and trained in history, science, and magic, after twenty years of schooling they are released into the world. Upon rejoining the rest of society, they quickly find their role and perform it to the best of their ability.
