Sentient races of the world: CHECK Half-Giants Storm: spread thin, primarily in tornado hot-spot. Cloud: Upper claw mostly. spread thin elsewhere. Fire: Southern calanor. spread thin elsewhere. Frost: Jiiansgran. spread thin elsewhere. Stone: congregate in mountainous areas. Hill: Spread everywhere, not as thinly as other giants. Check Goliath: similar to half-stone CHECK Orc: Primarily native to southern calanor, "sahara" desert, and west temperate forest. Firbolg: wherever elves would be if it wasn't a taiga. Human: EVERYWHERE Elves: (wood) congregate in temperate forests. also high elves have a nice thing going in the "sahara" Tabaxi: northern calanor, "sahara", southern jungle, island tropic area CHECK Tieflings: EVERYWHERE (but not as densely as humans) Aasimar: EVERYWHERE (but thinly) Dragonborn: EVERYWHERE. but also congregate at a central citystate in crook of claw-continent Dwarves: similar to half-stone Genasi: EVERYWHERE but rare. Bugbear: calm climate forests and grasslands Goblin: EVERYWHERE, like even more than humans. Hobgoblin: Capital cities and major locations such as large ports and military stuff. Kobold: Quite populated near dragon lairs. nonexistent elsewhere. Lizardfolk: swamps/marshes, and the ex-wetland desert. Not well traveled, so exceedingly rare outside listed territories. Triton: "ATLANTIS" lol jk (but not really) major port towns, especially in the colder climes. Yuan-Ti: Congregate in the "sahara" and jungles. Travel in warmer climates but almost nonexistent elsewhere. Centaur: Fairly nomadic throughout their respective grasslands. Don't travel far beyond though. Minotaur: Congregate in urban areas. Don't leave cities much. Aarakocra: Natives to the plain of law, good, and air. Don't visit Ta'Aria much if they can help it. Players are almost certainly exiles. Gnome: Everywhere, but not as populated as humans. Halflings: Congregate in rural communities. Also prefer temperate forests. Shifter: Ex-machine of war. No real home, spread throughout human settlements. Warforged: Ex-machine of war. No real home, spread throughout human settlements. Kalashtar: Stick to their monasteries. Gnoll: Nomadic / Mercenary. Stick to dryer climates.
