However, this was not enough to fully defend against a high-energy attack, and the problem of low resources would eventually come up. So, the development of controllable wormholes began. By bending the fabric of space-time itself, wormholes were able to be created. However they required a large amount of energy to create, and that amount of energy only increases with the distance between openings, the size of the wormhole, and the duration it is kept open. In order to be able to use this technology effectively, a Dyson sphere had to be created. A crew was sent through a wormhole to construct one around the star of a system with no chance of developing any life. Quantum entanglement-based communication devices were created to provide instant communication with this crew. By 2818 CE, three Dyson spheres have been constructed. This allows a wormhole defense system to be utilized. This system sends any life-housing craft through a wormhole to the opposite side of the planet. Harmful projectiles are allowed to dissolve in the energy barrier. With their position secure, the inhabitants of Planet FABCA4D9-3 are left to research all they can about the universe, help others, and attempt to come up with a solution to the conflict plaguing their system.
