I got some work done on this ice covered top floor during summer camp! I wrote about the people, alluded to the environment and people, and might have some seeds for some conflicts.

This floor is the one that cut contact off from the lower floors (floors 4 and down). I wrote about the war from Floor 4's side, now I have to detail the reasons why floor 5 did what it did. I intend the floor to have at least 3 distinct regions.

A massive wasteland of a floor, only inhabited by a few important characters. It's mostly full of ruins. People from floor 2 come up here to find supplies, and I need to hammer down why they come up here, and what they're looking for. Why is it a desert now?

This floor was extensively developed for the first few sessions of the campaign, but then abandoned. It needs a lot of reworking, rewriting, and context.

I want this floor to have one distinct landscape per settlement. I also have to work this floor into the conflict between floor 5 and floor 4. Why is this area separated from the lower floors?

This floor is nearly complete. I've got some very well crafted articles for the settlements and the floors, as well as the history of the floor. I'd like to do an article on the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it as well, and more smaller detail articles.

One of the more complete floors of the tower. To really flesh it out, I'd like to add more life in the forest, and figure out relationships between the cities more. Questions I need to ask myself; If people here don't eat or drink to live, what do they do? Why do they trade? What does Tamworth train for? What is in the woods? What about travel to and from floor 3 and above?

Overview of the Floors

First Floor
The Floor of Strength
Stone, darkness, dust. The air smells like rust, and the ground transitions between patches of light and dark stone. Old ruins mark the landscape, and 4 massive staircases exist in the corners of the floor, locked. Existing in what seems like an unfinished state, the First Floor is dark and cut-off from the rest of the tower.

Fourth Floor
The Floor of Study
The entire floor is taken up by a massive ocean, full of undrinkable water. Two sister cities exist on opposite corners of the floor, each with a staircase from the floor below, and the rest of the ocean is dotted with a random selection of islands. One massive mountain juts out of the center of the ocean, containing the staircase to the Fifth Floor.

Seventh Floor
The Floor of Finality
The entire landscape is ice and stone, with one major city known as Castle Town guarding the staircase from the Sixth Floor below. Sheltered within the white stone walls from the harsh snow and ice, residents of Castle Town train to some day defeat the forces surrounding the final staircase, and gain access to the Starstone Architrave.
Second Floor
The Floor of Dexterity
Woods so thick that the light from above can barely reach the underbrush take up the majority of the Second Floor. A massive waterfall cascades out of the center of the ceiling above, splashing into the middle of the forest. A small lake formed here, and a river spirals outward from it, eventually splitting into two, ending in opposite corners, where two sister cities were built around the stairwells upwards.
Fifth Floor
The Floor of Thought
The surface of the Fifth Floor is taken up by a massive tree, and an equally massive mountain. Atop the mountain sits an intimidating castle, Stone Castle Invictus. In the branches of The Great Tree lives the broken souls of the floor. The branches of the great tree scrape the ever-light ceiling of the floor, allowing passage up to the Sixth Floor. Beneath it all, the twisting and dark cave system known as The Down Deep sprawls.
Starstone Architrave
The Top
Mysterious, containing the power of a god, but otherwise entirely unknown.
Third Floor
The Floor of Health
Hot sand and cursed winds fill the entire desert of this floor. Old ruins mark the locations on opposite corners of the floor, from where the second floor staircases connect to the third floor. The center of the floor is where a giant swamp known as Sanctuary is -- it's full of cursed and poisoned water, as well as a tall tower of a staircase upwards.

Sixth Floor
The Floor of Bargaining
The sixth floor is home to the largest city of Synthacrosia -- big enough to be considered a country, Senary. The Main City sits nestled between the massive plateau mountains of the floor, safely contained in the many rings of walls it has built around its self, to keep out the marauding clockwork from the city in the opposite corner of the floor, the cursed Towertown.

Recent progress

I'll update this blurb occasionally, detailing what I've accomplished lately. Summer camp is over! I got a LOT developed, but it was a bit more broad development than this "Path to Completion" outlined. Now's the time for me to really get into the nitty gritty of everything I've developed. Floor 5 got a lot of love this month -- floor 6 and 7 got a little bit, and then I added a lot of broad lore to the entire tower.   As for what's immediately next: # Update checklists, check on stubs, plan -- this is the step I'm on right now # refresh the bottom half of this article. Now that I have a good idea of the entire tower, it's time to add floor descriptions to help the average reader! # Update the landing page for Synthacrosia. It hasnt changed since I first started this world, and I've developed far beyond what that page currently is. I desperately need to spruce it up, and make a far more comprehensive landing page, if I want people to keep reading my world! # Create maps -- first up would be a cohesive world map. I have ideas for how to do this, but it's gonna be hard, seeing as my world is a tower! # metaphysical articles -- I need articles on time, hunger, thirst, and death. # Head back into stub-territory, and start filling out what was created during SC2019.

The actual map of the towers in the middle like that is *super* awesome formatting and I love it :D   Maybe it'll be useful for you to have summary of all the individual bits at the bottom, or maybe not. Either way, looks amazing and I look forward to seeing more of Synthacrosia!

Thank you! :)   That's a good idea too, I honestly wasnt sure what to do at the bottom of the article haha... What's there now is just sort of "filler". I might swap it for some sort of summary like you suggested! I'm definitely gonna think on it a bit here
