Starting out as a publicly funded neuranet video series, CupboardMan has evolved into a full-blown neuromask application.

Discovery

The video series started out because of the government's analytics on citizens in the Syntrofos Outer Capital and how to assist them in reaching peak optimacy. The studies showed that most citizens went long periods of time without eating even though they usually did have enough ingredients in their household, and, most of the time those ingredients overlapped between households.
Since eating is a necessary function in order to survive and optimally do their job, it was in the government's best interest to help the citizens to increase profits gained by their employers. A secondary objective was to increase citizen's happiness, causing less overall distress and displeasure towards the government in the Syntrofos Outer Capital.
Once the video series was no longer viable, the government released an app and a couple of months later ended the show.
