Darehan

The Kingdom of Darehan is one of the oldest continuous existing human nations within Graenlandir, that mainly nestles between the Rother River, the Unther River and the southern ranges of the Titan's Back Mountains.
Over half of Darehan is heavily forested, with much of the available flat land at the confluence near to the Gleaming Lake being given over to the settlement and farming. Although officially the borders of Darehan push into the Titan's Back's mountainous slopes there has been a tendency to avoid mining and setting up industry in the area due to the nearby presence of the Gunedar dwarves.
Darehan is a highly structured feudal, and mildly xenophobic realm. The lineage of the House of Cernay has reigned for almost 600 years in a continuous unbroken line, despite two civil wars and a sucession crisis in 147BF, and maintained peace and order within the nation.
