And suddenly, the ground wasn't flat anymore. Raising to the skies the mountains were in front of us. And that's the first time I was ever speechless.

The western parts of the continent of Regerwa is dominated by this huge mountain range. Getting over it is hard, if not impossible, and not something that is done on a whim. The mountains are probably the part of Regerwa that is the least explored. What is known about it is that the range split in two at one point, and later merge again. This whole area is known as Borivobog and is only inhabited by the nomad tribes that have adapted to this harsh environment.

Top of the World

The highest parts of the mountains is a very harsh environment. The icy winds blow year-round and the air itself is too thin to breath properly. If you manage to get up here you will see the most beautiful, sterile places you've ever seen. Not a plant, animal or insect in sight, only the snow beneath your feet and the sky above you. Most of the time clouds lay thick beneath, creating a floor that you can watch from above, and you are wrapped in this white dreamscape. If you are lucky enough to be up there in clear weather you may get to see the whole world.

Mythology

Nothing in the world has inspired as many myths, rumours and stories as the mountains. They provide shelter, riches, death, disasters. They are wild and impossible to control, not for lack of trying. Over nine countries span their length, with countless of species of animals and plants. They are also home to one of the most mysterious people in the world: the Borivogians.
