Standard Warehouse Alarm Technique
We can't call it SWAT because the police would be pretty annoyed, especially since these systems are usually used against them by various supervillains.
It's not meant to kill, or even necessarily to be terribly loud and obnoxious. It's more meant to be about giving the intruder a sense of unquiet, all while also sending out an alert to the owner of the warehouse and its contents.
The silent alarm is the most crucial part, making sure that the owner can come out and investigate, but the other primary part is the sounds and the minor traps. Some people upgrade these, personalize them, but the basic system is meant to entrap people after they've been made increasingly irrational by a series of subtle sounds and smells.
