Murderous Spirit

The members of the Order of Death are really more like cultists, but it is technically a job. Known as Spirits of Death, the assassins kill people where they are assigned to go, for very little pay. In fact, they usually get nothing since they tend to perform better as sleeper agents and even the most trusting would be rather bewildered if a bunch of money suddenly appeared for an assassination you don't even remember performing.
The name is not of their choosing but rather just what they get called out of frustration by the people who are trying to find them.
