The American Werewolf

Code name:Werewolf - Ok - so the name isn't exactly heroic sounding but YOU tell the 450 lbs, 7 1/2 foot tall pile of muscle teeth and claws the name he picked is lame.
Given name: Albert Krieger
Born October 17 1921 Hamburg Germany
Notes: Parents own Kreiger's Deli in Syracuse NY.
Also helped capture Blut Wulf alive.

The son of German Emigre's who moved to the new world to start over. His family had a centuries old secret - they were werewolves. They came to America where they could hope for better treatment. Still they kept the lycanthropy secret until December 8 1941. He had heard stories of 'blood thirsty werewolves fighting for the nazis in the infamous Jager Corp. Angered and infuriated he showed up at the recruiting office in full thrope form 'To show them what a 'real' werewolf was like'. The image of the 450 lbs, 7 1/2 foot tall werewolf taking the oath of allegiance from a sergeant 2 feet shorter and 200 lbs lighter was a potent image. With the words 'We All fight for Freedom' underneath it became a very powerful recruiting poster.
An early member of the Hero brigade he specialized in hunting down nazi werewolves. Known to have killed at least 30, captured 50 and talked another 100 to change sides. His killing of the Jager Corp pack leader in 1943 broke the Nazi control over the werewolves and the corp was subsequently disbanded. Served in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Northern France, Southern France, Belgium, Norway, Russia, Poland. Served with distinction in Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, Battle of the Ruhr.
The image of an American Werewolf fighting for democracy and freedom did much to overcome the 'evil werewolf' image so prevalent in American culture at the time. Also responsible for the rehabilitation of many werewolves that had served Germany. He remained in the army after the war and served in Korea and Vietnam. Didn't serve in the Rikti war but 4 of his sons and daughters did.
