Amelia O'Shea was born in an Irish American community in Pennsylvania but little more of her early life is known. Believed to have served in the military Registered as a freelance hero in 1975 in Paragon city and has served in the city since then. One of the longest serving heroes in the city. During the Rickti invasion she served with considerable skill and courage.

All the years of being a super heroine had taken their toll leaving Amelia tired and worn out. An offer from her sister to stay for the holidays took Amelia to upstate New York. There she met Paladin and Team Excelsior - the local New York super team. After some discussion she was offered a place on the team and gladly accepted it.

Team Excelsior has been in some tough fights but things are a lot slower in upstate New York then in Paragon city and it has given the woman some much needed time to relax.

Note: Amelia the Archer holds a special place in my heart. She was my first character in City of Heroes to reach level 50! I have many pleasant memories of playing her in the game!
