The story of the Sephter of Horus

Well all know that the Sephter of Horus is a very powerful relic, however there is an interesting tale behind it.

The beginning

Many eions ago there was this creature by the name of Izfal'zah. it's humongous body roamed these very lands. Its pressence alone would make everybody sick in a very large sphere. This wasn't so bad, just minor things at the start. A unusually high number of people with food poisoning, diarrhea or the flu all things not liked however very managable. Unfortunately it didn't stop there. The people of the land got more and more sick and started dying from all kinds of diseases that weren't known by any of the herbalists or the shamans. The pharoah would reward anyone who was able to slay this beast. The first one to arrive after a week was a stranger, the pharaoh was very despirate after seeing as all his people started dying of all kinds of diseases. The stranger made a proposition: "I will slay this plague that roams your lands, though I can't do it yet without a certain item.". The pharoah said: "Anything to save the kingdom." "I have been collecting all of the ingredients that I need, the only thing I need is a direct connection with the gods". The pharaoh shocked at the proposition bowed his head in agreement and as was asked the pharoah resigned his position to the stranger now know as Pharaoh Tiukesh.

The ritual

Tiukesh laid down the items he had collected. A scarab beetle of solid gold, a golden ankh, a Djed, a solid gold khopesh and last both of the crook and flail of the pharaoh in the middle. At midnight when night had fallen. Tiukesh started the ritual as the horus' star was at it's peak. A beam of light came down from the heavens consuming the items however what was left was a sephter that faintly glowed hovering in the middle of it. Now Tiukesh was ready to take on Izfal'zah.

The encounter

He traveled to the beast with the sephter of horus in his possesion. There was was consuming whatever was left of a body covered in all kinds of rash and completely bloated. Tiukesh made a connection with the sephter which got him to Horus himself, praying for his aid to rid the world of this monstrocity. Izfal'zah noticed what Tiukesh was doing and started charging towards him, however the prayer was answered. Tiukesh aimed the sephter towards Izfal'zah, the clouds opened up in a circle and a beam of light struck down on top of the sephter reflected toward Izfal'zah leaving an enormous hole within the chest barely missing its head. The effects of izfal'zah's aura seemed to have dissapeared. That unfortunately wasn't enough to kill it. A battle ensued between Tiukesh and Izfal'zah that hasn't been rivaled since. Tiukesh was nimble on his feet dodging all of Izfal'zah attacks, while trying to strike him at the same time. It went well tiukesh unfortunately got overconfident as he went for the final strike. Finally Izfal'zah's fangs got hold of Tiukesh, though luckily for all of us he still got in the last blow before the poison took hold of him and managed to kill Izfal'zah.

The aftermath

The sephter protected him against most of the disease however not all. He made his trip back and was greeted with open arms. He was given the title of Agent of Horus along with his title as pharoah. The church was able to help him cure the last part of the disease with Thylmin usually that is a pain killer, however with this it had an unfortunate side effect making his left arm unusable, though Tiukesh much prefered the loss of his left arm over the anguish that was the left overs of that curse. The condition is called Seth's curse. Unfortunately all of Tiukesh's offspring suffer this fate. They are called the Tiukeshians who still reside within the city
