Wynsveil, Alnea

  • Wysnveil is the name given to this place, as it was there even before humans arrived on Alnea.
  • It was said that Wynsveil was the location all portals opened to and was created by the gods to welcome their creation to this new land. When the humans betrayed the gods and gave up their religions, the Gods retaliated by stripping the beautiful rose garden of all it’s roses, crumbling the towers of the cathedrals, and summoning the first demons into the land.
  • At first people were distraught, and contemplated returning to their faith. They tried to restore Wynsveil, but they were attacked by a creature within the sprawling complex they called a “Qwentzal,” a terrifying beast with 9 legs and 3 mouths.
  • They abandoned the complex, instead seeking to repair and replant the rose garden. It worked, sprouting millions of roses, until people started going insane and performing ritualistic human sacrifice, because of a new rose that started to grow within the garden, called a Voidflower by those who somehow saw it and survived.
  • It was then when the first and only king of Wynsveil came into power, a man named Himmel who took control over the entire area, locking everyone out by means of magical concealment.
  • The Church of Himmelhart was born, and they created the only way to enter Wynsveil, the Encyclopedia of Wynsveil.

The Encyclopedia of Wynsveil

  • The encyclopedia is a comprehensive, intriguing, horrifying book that only contains information about Wynsveil that makes it look appealing, as well as offering the reader a map to the area that has now become visible to them.
  • Doing this is fatal, with no one ever returning alive, as the Church of Himmelhart remains active, almost 2000 years after it began. The Church of Himmelhart focuses on creating and distributing Voidflowers, which destroy the mind of whoever looks into the middle of the flower.
