The Director's Signature Pen, Earth

• The Director of New California has always been a mystery to everybody, only being known by a few people in high positions within the government as to hide his identity from the nation’s enemies.
• Some people believe that the Director is not a human, instead thinking that it is an AI construct that makes incredibly accurate decisions for the entire country. In fact, these speculations became so widespread, that the Director made his first ‘appearance’ in history, showing nothing but his left hand and a pen, a pen that would become famous for its ability to create and destroy at a flick of the wrist, the Director’s Signature Pen.
• This showed the world that it was time to relax in secrecy for a short while, and let the public know that they don't need to be afraid anymore.
• This also gave people a small fact about the Director; he was left-handed. What was once an annoyance to many became extremely popular, with most left-handed people getting more recognition, just in case they were the Director hiding in plain sight.

What’s so Special About This Pen?

• While the pen is just a pen, nothing more, it signifies that one of the most powerful people in the entire world gave a concession to the masses, which inspired many people in other nations to demand information about their country’s leaders.
• While many people also think that the hand shown in the video isn't the Director’s hand, many more believe that it was, and the meaning behind it still showed in other countries, for example; West Russia, whose leader made the first public appearance in thirty years almost immediately after the live stream of the Director’s hand became live.

• Every Thursday evening at 7 pm PST, a live stream of the Director’s hand would become available to watch on the official New Californian government website, where millions of Californian citizens watched their Director sign bills, write reports that later would become public, and in some instances, draw beautiful pictures of various extinct and non-extinct nature.
