The Medicine Men

Medicine men are tribe members who are raised in the training of medicine. The boys are picked at a young age to start learning about Catibus and other herbs and plants. They learn how to plant, grow, harvest, and prepare medicine with plants. They learn about different ailments and treatments for each. A member of the medicine me learns constantly throughout their life. They are learning the secrets of Ticeran and the connection to him. With the assistance of the medicine men, healing happens a lot faster with the power of The Connection. The Connection allows for the healing process to expedite, and the healing time is only 24 - 48 hours with The connection. The medicine men started when Ticeran made himself visible to the tribe at the very beginning. He taught the first group of medicine men about the vegetation on the planet and how they can make tinctures, salves, balms, and other healing properties. They then learned about The Connection, and that they can call upon Ticeran to help with healing and growing.
Medicine men are only made up of men. This was because The Connection only works with the male tribe members. Each generation there are new young tribe members placed with the medicine men. This will go on each generation to assure there are enough medicine men to be available for the tribe. During the training of the medicine men, they move into the apothecary and devote their entire day to learning. There is a library that has the books of the medicine men from the first generation all the way to the current generation. They will record new ailments or instances that are treated and how they treated it. There will be recipes for salves, balms, and tinctures. All instances requires The Connection, and it is recorded what that individual medicine man did to heal with the assistance of Ticeran.
The tribes population is also recorded in the books at the apothecary. The name of every single Ticerian is listed in the pages, and recorded deaths of those that have passed into the spirit with Ticeran.
