Set on an alternate Earth in 1920s America, cats have evolved to become the dominant humanoid race.   Our story begins in the center of New York City, New York, in 1921 where prohibition has been in place for almost a full year. Tensions are running high and organized crime has made waves in the nation's largest city, yet despite the influx of unlawful activities, the politicians of the city have remained silent on the issue—most likely due to the dirty money lining their pockets.
