On twitch.tv/paintingbig, we started a brand new thing: a cooperative world-building and role-playing stream for our whole Twitch channel.   It's a D&D category stream where we paint characters and make up stories about them and the world they live--and get into trouble--in! While I paint, I act as GM and keep the creative ball rolling.   With input from my Twitch and Patreon communities, we work on fleshing out the world and the characters I'm painting--and we paint them in line with the personalities and stories we are creating for them!   So, welcome to our grand experiment! I'm a top-level miniature painter and instructor as well as a long-time game master and RPG gamer. I thought this could be a fun synergy of painting tips, cooperative world-building, and impromptu role-playing. :)   We've started by creating our initial city, where our characters will start out. It's a tropical port city, a city of gates, a half-ruined city, a city of ancient magic, backed by mountains rising off into the sky beyond the deep wilderness. It's three cities, built one atop the other over the centuries. Surrounded by the tropical wild jungle, the newest iteration of this frontier port fights to survive and prosper, hopefully aided by our new characters!   Won't you join us?   Running on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6 pm USA Central time on twitch.tv/paintingbig!
