Dornwitch

Dornwitch- a large village with a population of around 500, sits just south of the Berkfail lake, four days by foot from Nardwitch. The boys meet priest Hogdil and are taken in at the church and told that a messenger will be sent immediately to Tolens to warn the kingdom of impending invasion. The boys soon discover through shenanigans that father Hogdil collects children's shoes, and decide to leave the care of the church immediately. Barry finds a fortune teller that tells him his father will die, surrounded by spiders, next to a lake in the Shadow woods within a year. The jar remains a mystery.
