Strany'Mir

Strany'Mir is a world of gods good or evil, devils, demons and all manner of things present in Dungeons & Dragons, but there is also a heavy influence of creatures from the far realms creating a setting capable of great heroism and valor, as well as mind numbing terror and dream haunting horror.   My first campaign is a horror filled one with mad cults, mysterious mansions, and gothic horrors, not to mention some Lovecraftian elements. This campaign is pretty isolated from most of the occurrences happening in Strany'Mir but the outcome will echo through the lands afterwards. The horror aspect is accompanied by intrigue and mystery with the machinations of gods in the background.   This world will be the background for campaigns by multiple dm's, and players will play a part in world building with their backgrounds. Currently there is a mysterious estate with a mansion inspired by the famous "Winchester mansion", a sanitarium/orphanage has a bleak past, all this with lycanthropes, demons, and eldritch abominations oh my!
