"Over 1,000 years ago, the followers of Gozreh suddenly lost connection with their deity the same time as a giant storm appeared over the small island of Hermea off the coast of the Old Chiliaxian region of Golerion.

30 years ago, the 1,000-year storm showed signs of easing and within 10 years the storm cleared. As the storm cleared, the region now called Storms Eye was revealed. The next 20 years brought in the age of exploration. Both the Technic League and the Pathfinder society sent expeditions to explore this new region with the aims to uncover interesting technology or artifacts and try piece together what happened at Hermea respectively."
