House of Axefather
Once one of the great seven Dwarven Houses, the invasion of Bhaal the Bloodthirsy threw them from their mighty fortress inside The Silver Mountains, murdering many of their people including their King, Tybnar Axefather and his sons. After many years of wandering Axefather has fallen apart, it's bloodline all but lost to the ages.
Structure
The House of Axefather was ruled by a king- the most direct descendant of the original King Axefather of the Silver Mountains. Under him was his royal court and advisers who kept the mountain is order and functioning. As most under the mountain were blood relatives, very few ever suffered poverty or discrimination due to the Dwarves strong family bonds.
History
When the Great King Durrin died and his sons split to form the seven great Dwarven Clans, his son Bogarst took the name Axefather and begun to build his empire in The Silver Mountains, a mountain filled with rare and valuable mythril. Valuing hard work and
Disbandment
After years under the mountain living in peace and harmony, disaster struck. As the ultimate sacrifice to his blood god Khorne, Bhaal the Bloodthirsty and his army of goblins and ogres slaughtered hundreds of the Axefather Clan, throwing them from their halls and claiming the mountain for his god. After years wandering, unable to claim their mountain back and left leaderless after the death of both their king and prince, the Axefathers slowly split apart and disbanded.
