Khirarium

The Khirarium is also named "Sage Year" and is a tradition-phase to Kharis people. It occur between the 250th and the 300th year of a Kharis, at this moment, his Ritsotsei horns change themselves and take over a new shape. This moment is extremely painful for most Kharises, where he can unluckily loose his excrescences.
It's generally prepared by mandatory information sessions at the 205 years of each individual, giving them some painkillers and sanity prevention in case of brutal and weird mutations. We can compare this moment to the human puberty, except only Ritsotsei horns are affected.
There is a difference into the Grimms civilisation, where the prominences stain a pearly red, fused with a gleaming black & white. For those whose been with a regular contact with Grimmis, this period lasts less time (~50% less time.), but is a lot more painful. It's a meaning about the fact that Grimmis can resist anything in their life.
