The human diaspora has spread far and wide to the stars, millennia have passed and empires have risen and fallen, one of these cycles is about to occur again.

Approximately 50 years ago a new Hegemon rose to take control of this quadrant of space, the citizens are straining over their yoke of tyranny but few left alive remember what it was like before the Hegemon . Several of the other Great Houses are now jockeying for position and testing their boundaries and a very strong covert rebel sect the March of Nights has risen as radical opposition to the current regime. The ancient Progenitor Jump Rings are also starting to break down leading trade between the stars into a conundrum.
