Lucinda System

The Lucinda System is a mysterious solar system, warped by magical phenomena. It was one of the last systems colonized by the Systems Alliance before the Black Scourge Conflict and one of the first systems to be attacked by the Black Scourge. Faced with the immediate threat of a full Scourge fleet, the fledgling colonies were evacuated and the system was quarantined. Only recently did recolonization begin, just in time for the Drift Beacon Quarantine to be instituted, leaving the inhabitants to fend for themselves.
While there are some native civilizations in the area, there are none who have achieved space travel capabilities on their own.
