The first member of The Unity Church to settle down on Saint's Rest, Joseph was originally greeted warmly by the inhabitants of the planet and invited other Unionists to the planet, seeing it as a refuge from the persecution they have often suffered from followers of The Pantheon.
While the Winter Pox that ravaged the indigenous peoples of Saint's Rest came with Union Church colonizers, Joseph has expressly denied any responsibility time and time again. It is the native's refusal to greet The Creator's favored and their embrace of The Destroyer that has brought the Winter Pox on them, he says.
