Stelaria

In the world of Stelaria humans are the rarest race, rarer even than dragons! They are rare, because the wizard Randogin was so powerful, he thought he could win a war on the gods. Most humans had also been using their magical powers for evil at this point as well, so the gods decided the best thing to do was kill all the wicked humans. The gods couldn't do that by themselves, so they created the other races. First they made dragons, then centaures, then merefolk, then the elves, and last of all, dwarves. The gods also enlisted the help of the races that had been created by human magicians, namely harpies, nagas, hogons and minotuars.   After the war, Randogin was banished to the nether, because the gods couldn't kill him, and no mortal was brave enough to touch him. Meanwhile, humans became a primitive, tribal people. scattered all across Stelaria. Dwarves took their place as the dominant people in the world, and aside from the free kingdoms of the northern isles, elves became subject to the dwarves. This is because dwarvish technology was more powerful than elf magic.
