ˈKrimzən Apoštol

The crimson apostle started like every other religion: a man had a dream. In this case, that man was Thurlow. In most cases, the dream is referred to as a vision from a god. Not for Thurlow. He knew it was only a dream. Considering he was destitute he had nothing to lose. He told his dream to whoever wanted to listen.

It was a simple dream. Walking the land preaching the glory of the gods. Accepting sacrifices on behalf of the people to pacify the gods. The part of the dream that he kept for himself was the fee he would keep for himself.

The very next day, the first day of the sowing season, he set off in his red robe across Steeghan. He began preaching the good deeds of Feuyer (Few-Yair) the son god. Before he knew it, he had money in his pocket and more troubling, he had followers. With every season, the original apostle as Thurlow demanded to be called, he transferred the focus to a different god: Heorte, the Goddess of harvest. Drashra, Goddess of unification. Phyveus, God of abundance.

It didn't take long for the Crimson Apostle to have enough money to have a temple built and enough followers for Thurlow to delegate his missionary work so he could "concentrate" on new approaches to soothe the gods. Once the temple was built in the favored section of Estergan, the original apostle became a hermit and lived his last days in the lap of luxury.

The ˈKrimzən Apoštol has prospered throughout the cycles. The current leader, the head apostle Emelyn, is overseeing the construction of the third temple and is very active as a member of the Pwerus Kuintë. However if you send your sacrifice (preferably in form of currency), with a note as to which god or goddess you wish to appease, she will make certain that it is treated with the utmost respect.
