Starsword Champions

The world is threatened by impending doom, but the general populace is not even aware of it. The higher ups of the various kingdoms and nations have scrambled to find a solution, but the only thing that has emerged is one that will take a rag-tag group of adventurers to acquire the pieces.   Long ago, an artifact of great power saved the world from a great evil. To prevent its misuse in the future, the key was shattered into nine pieces, and given to the strongest creatures of the world: the great dragons. Since then, the shattered key has been passed from one dragon to the next, either intentionally or taken by force. Most of these dragons will not give up their shard freely, as it contains power and status.   But to save the world once more, the this artifact is once more needed. Thus to obtain it, the shards of the key must be assembled. To do this, one must be able to deal with the world's greatest dragons. Either through combat, stealth, or diplomacy - the shards of the key must be gathered. Yet, no ordinary person is capable of such feats...   As we speak, the kingdom of Altza is gathering those who might be able to succeed at task, by resurrecting an old tournament from ages past.   This is the story of the Starsword Champions...
