Appearance: Risa has dark honey blond hair, deeply tanned brown skin and light green eyes. She’s very light and small, at 5’5’’ and 117 lbs. She wears baggy cargo pants and t-shirts with snarky sayings on them. She favors high top sneakers and toe socks and has a wide range of jewelry that she wears. She’s not well known for wearing make up, but she does use colored lip gloss on occasion. She will likely always have the scars on her back from the accident she was in. She has a tattoo that she won’t talk about or even show anyone. It’s on her lower back and she takes great pains to keep it hidden.

Personality: Risa is the eternal joker, never seeming to take anything seriously and always looking for the opportunity to play a prank on someone. The thought of death really bothers her and she won’t go anywhere near the hospital’s morgue, not even to see the bodies of her parents, or near cemeteries. She also avoids funerals and churches.
History: As far as Risa is concerned, her life started the day she woke up in the mental ward of the Olympia general hospital. She was informed that her family was dead and that she was suffering from extreme amnesia. She’d apparently been in some kind of accident (the doctors were very vague on that point) and had been rushed to the hospital. Once she was recovered from the life saving surgery, she was sent to the mental ward with other kids suffering from similar illnesses. All told, there are about 14 of them there. Some come and go as their illnesses dictate.
She chose her name from a book in the library as a temporary one until her real name gets revealed. A young man named Lachlan helped her learn the ropes around the hospital.
While she can’t remember too much of any actual schooling, she appears to have a grade 12 level of education in most areas(math, science, history) and a third year of college level in others (languages, literature, and reading level). Presently, she’s taking additional college level courses through correspondence to further her understanding of languages.
