Purpose / Function

The Rimma Trade Route is one of the five superhighways of the Galaxy. At full speed with no layovers, travel from Abregado-rae in the Core to Karideph System, a piece of the Outer Rim Territories just short of the Kathol Sector, takes over six standard weeks in a starship with a decent-quality hyperdrive. (And, of course, no ship would normally do that entire run without stopping!)

The Shapani Bypass is a branching hyperlane in the Colonies Region which connects to the Rimma at Giju and Thyferra.
