Reena Province

Reena Province, the most cordial place in the entire Tapani Sector, is a lovely little expanse operated by House Vorreena. They have a lot of high-grade ore mining, but they don’t spend the proceeds on the political tools (spies, heavily armed “police” reserves) that would make them High Vor movers and shakers.

Part of the motivation for that might be how they’re surrounded by the unnavigable nebula field surrounding Tapani Sector, and Mecetti Province. There’s no place for them to expand without getting into a swat-fight with Vormecetti, who frankly is just looking for a chance to show off.

On the other hand, House Vorreena regularly devotes large chunks of its government finances to education and research. High Lord Galen Panos Vorreena was Dean Galen Panos of Reena University before he ascended to the High Lordship of his province.
