Mechis System
The Mechis system is one of the many systems in the Inner Rim's Jasco Sector. Even before contact with the Republic, the inhabitants of the Mechis worlds have had a leaning toward droid engineering and mechanical design with an artistic flair.
Over time this has drawn many outlaw technicians to the system to explore and experiment with the electro-conductive plants such as the quillvines of Mechis II, or the skargiri crystals of Mechis III.
In current times, the Mechis system is one of the more well-established home of droid design and materials manufacturing.
It is also home to the Mechanis Empire.
Geography
Mechis is a single star system, with its primary being a K2 V orange main sequence star. Four planets comprise this star system, with only the middle two naturally being able to support life.
