BlasTech, the largest arms manufacturer in the galaxy, owns this system. The planet Boria is basically a well-kept, resort-like world where the workers and managers live in fairly luxurious cities which cover the islands, with the exception that every beach is maintained for recreation. The workers commute to work in orbital factories aboard shuttles. The starport is another large orbital facility. Travel to the planet is quite restricted, most outworld visitors are barred from visiting the planet unless invited by a citizen. All in all, the planetary population, which is vastly Human in its makeup, is a happy and well-behaved one, with little potential for rebellion against the established order.
Due to the restricted nature of their product, the Empire requires that BlasTech maintain strict control over their local space. The planet is policed by a local Corporate Police force, and due to its peaceful nature, there is not a standing corporate army. In space, BlasTech maintains a strong standing Space Defense Force made up of a dozen Corellian Corvettes. The Empire, always concerned with policing arms producers, does maintain a strong presence in the system. A Tenloss Orbital Customs Platform, with its normal complement of shuttles & T.I.E. starfighters, is positioned in orbit around the planet, with another one at each jump point for the hyperspace lanes leading into & out of the system. That being said, shipments of weapons out of the system are often escorted by one of the Corellian Corvettes. With the Sector Army expanding, orders have increased. With this increase in shipments, BlasTech has been in negotiations with CEC, and has agreed to purchase a dozen used, older CEC Support Frigates to expand its escort capacity. These ships should be arriving over the next six months with ferry crews aboard. These are ships that were traded in for the newer CEC Corvettes, and have had a full overhaul. BlasTech is keenly aware that the various rebel organizations around the galaxy are targeting their shipments.
