Ki Shot

The most basic of Ki attacks, Ki Shot is the first and most versatile technique Ki warriors can learn. Fueled by the energy from one's very soul, it is the foundation upon with every other Ki technique is built upon, and can be expanded and modified with the right knowledge.

There are a variety of ways to change how the technique does it's damage, although this comes at the cost of increasing the technique's difficulty rating. They are:

• Explosive: Gains the Blast quality, with a rating equal to the caster's ranks in Knowledge. This cannot be combined with Icy. (+d)
• Fiery:This attack gains the Burn quality, with a rating equal to the caster's ranks in Knowledge, and becomes charged with the Fire element. this cannot be combined with Icy or Electric. (+d)
• Icy: This attack gains the Ensnare quality, with a rating equal to the caster's ranks in Knowledge. This cannot be combined with Fiery or Electric. (+d)
• Electric: This attack deals Electric damage and the caster may spend aaa or t to stagget the target for a number of rounds equal to the caster's ranks in Knowledge. This cannot be combined with Fiery or Icy. (+d)
• Melee: This attack can be used while Engaged with an opponent. This effect cannot be combined with Range. It can be combined with Explosive, but it is highly discouraged. (+ d)
• Concussive: This attack gains the Knockdown quality. It also gains the Disorient quality, with a rating equal to that of the caster's ranks in Knowledge. (+d)
• Range: Increase the range of this attack by one range band. This can be applied multiple times, adding difficulty and one range band each time. (+d)
• Destructive: This attack gains the Sunder quality. It also gains the Pierce quality with a rating equal to the caster's ranks in Kowledge.(+dd)
• Heavy-hitting: This attack gains a Critical rating of 2, and the Pierce quality with a rating equal to the user's ranks in Knowledge. (+dd)
• Barrage: This attack does basic damage, has a range of short, and has a Linked quality with a rating equal to that of the user's ranks Knowledge. Difficulty: +dd

Effect

Ki Shot does basic damage. Base damage is calculated by adding the user's Brawn to the number of s generated by the check.

Side/Secondary Effects

Varies with Upgrades.

Manifestation

Ki Shot appears as a yellow burst of light.

Ki Shot must be focused through a single appendage, whether it be arm, leg, or tail, if applicable. The user must focus energy into the end of their chosen appendage, and then release it.
