Star System 6-70F

6-70F, colloquially known as Blackout, is a star found in a remote sector of the Dicapsa galaxy which emits a dark bluish purple light despite giving off a relatively low amount of heat. It has recently been discovered, and has three moderately habitable planets surrounding it as well as one planet and five moons that were deemed terraformable and a gas giant with near ideal conditions for building an intergalactic spaceport with minimal environmental reconstruction. As such, many nearby companies have begun rushing to claim this land despite its initial assumption as being largely uninhabitable due to the miscalculated heat of Blackout. Some of the most powerful forces in Dicaspa have rushed in to claim the gas giant 6-70F14 (colloquially known as many things to many different groups, but neutrally referred to as '14), so bickering and skirmishes frequent its rings. Meanwhile many smaller organizations have began attempting to commercialize the habitable planets or terraform the less habitable ones. Piracy and lawlessness run rampant in certain areas of the system, partially due to the sudden influx of people, and partially because the organizations large enough to quickly instill any solid form of governance are busying themselves with '14. Unfortunately, trouble is brewing in the system on a scale unforeseeable by even the top minds of the era.
