Horibou Deer

This clever, quiet and uncommon creature is a type of mammal. It's about the size of a deer, has four sleek legs and a short, strong stone-like tail. They have a thin, but strong skin covered in thick, fluffy fur which is usually either dark brown, grey or dark silver or a combination of these colors.   They live in hills, high valleys and mountainous areas. They're herbivores and their small, narrow mouths, their teeth and wide tongue are ideal for eating flowers.   They're diurnal and rely on their sight and sense of smell to get around. They do have large, oval ears, They have flat noses and large, round eyes. Their heads are long and narrow in comparison to their bodies.   They make sounds ranging from relatively high pitched to very low pitched and have a extremely limited range of sounds they make to indicate discoveries, dangers and otherwise communicate with each other.   These creatures are very gentle, but they'll fiercely defend their territory. They mate once or twice a year and they mate with multiple partners throughout life. Which, with their very long lifespans, is only normal.
