The Brightfeather Accounts

The following is are some excerpts from the Brightfeather Accounts, a log kept by Solatra Brightfeather, Reed Of Discovery, during their time on sight at the various digs in the tear.
'.... the structure seems to have a remarkable level of integrity considering that only a cataclysmic event can have placed it this deep under the desert. Interestingly the outer parts of the building show signs of once having been highly detailed but look almost as if they were worn away. My guess from this alone would be that the building I now regard was pulleddown into the sand at great speed and this caused the dealing to be literally sanded away, *theory unfounded, revisit at later date*....'
'.... We managed to make it inside the first room, the doors were sealed tight and there was a rush of air once broken. I am not sure if this was in or out. the inside of the structure is unlike anything I have ever seen. time has clearly taken its toll but it must have once been beautiful. I am keen to get stuck in but sketches must be done first and everything must be inventoried and assessed before I'm letting anyone touch anything here. Who knows what we are going to find...'
'....according to one of the books that I have been able to translate at least in part this structure was a watch tower, on the outer edge of a great citadel. I must find this Asteograthia, is it described here as the cradle of life, the first city of the weaver. I do not know if this book is factual but it must be looked into. ....'
'.... the team I took down deeper into this watch tower, that I am calling the alpha site, are all shaken. We found a body, not one of ours, it is of Vishakoli, the race of people who lived here, the first race of the weaver. They are a wonder to behold, I have sent Josep back to get a team down here to recover the body. I want it examined by our best....'
