Spice World

It's been roughly 100 years since the Seven Days of War. The war was predominantly between three groups: The Spirits of the Divine, The Spirits of the Faye, and the Spirits of the Infernal. The followers of these spirits/forces are not limited to anyone group, but broadly speaking, the Divine covers mostly the common races, the Faye are faeries and nature beings, and the infernal is demons/demon worshipers.   In the war, the Spirit of the Divine won out, but severely weakened itself in using one final act of power, which petrified the bulk of each side’s forces along with many common people. These stone figures dot the landscape in varying levels of decay. The major city in the area was built after the war and is centered on a well preserved statue of an angelic figure. This city stands in particular difference from most others, which are relics of their former selves. These other cities were built pre war, and were thus hit hard by the mass petrification. These cities are primarily dens of depravity, though even a city run by thieves and bandits can have an order to it. In the places where people have not maintained settlement, nature has reclaimed the land.
