Aerico Federation
Aericokind has had a long history of bloody war and disaster. Since they were capable of waging war with pointy sticks, they have been killing each other as fast as even the smallest semblance of logic would allow. Many of the widely varied races of aerico have a strong tendency toward violence, and the ones that don’t are oftentimes the target or caught in the crossfire.
When technology began to develop rapidly with the advent of computers, society naturally changed to accommodate. Out with the old ways of endless bloodshed, and in with the new ways of world peace, aided by government-sanctioned warfare alongside the new central worldwide government. Acceptance, peace, and a strong sense of unit ignited within the aericos, but even then they are perfectly capable of putting all these newfound feelings aside every six years for BLOODY WAR.
Religion
Among the various religions and systems of belief, the most widespread, and possibly the oddest, is the religion of Takaon. Takaons believe that all the power in the universe can, in one way or another, be either harnessed with or channeled through a sufficiently well-tuned gyroscope. This religion has been widespread enough for long enough that gyroscopic designs capable of magic-like feats have been created, and gyroscopic design influences much of aerico technology, causing a slight overlap of undetectable mystical forces and technology.
