Graveyard's Pilot
Requirements
- The crew's trust
- Great sense of adventure
- Negotiation skills (which is a very flexible term for them)
- Leadership qualities
- Either convincing or a very good listener
- Good thinking (and mood) under pressure
- Observation skills to detect and measure sources of fun and/or danger
Appointment
When the current Pilot decides that he is no longer capable or interested enough to do the job, he may name a successor or provide a system for the crew to select one. So far, the best methods are those that include some sort of audition.
Either way, and just like with any other role on the ship, is common for a person to suddenly find themselves turned into The Pilot, especially after leading an escape from a situation so bad that the previous leader was killed, captured or simple unable to lead them to safety.
Duties
The pilot takes great pleasure in leading all of the Deadly Entertainers to the most exciting and fun places, providing them adventure—without casualties, if posible.
Responsibilities
- Chose new planets to visit
- Keep updated the list of visited planets so they are not revisited
- Design or revise the plan for each visit
- Lead any negotiations in each planet, or assign/approve a person or group to do it
- In case of renounce, manage the transition of leadership
Benefits
While some Pilots have used their rank to get specific privileges that mattered for them, the official perks of the job are the fun and pride they find in choosing the ship's destination and deciding how to use all the resources in it to organize great travels and parties.
