United Kalkan States

The sole government of Kalkan, the United Kalkan States has been around for a couple thousand years, the people of it now completely integrated among themselves.
Made up of 6 species, the Kalkan government keeps a strange sense of control, with a constitution, but a very active police force.
Only recently did the UKS learn it wasn't alone, as a small contingent of Panther-V55 Class Space Destroyers were destroyed in a fiery battle over Ruvan, where the surface of the planet was scorched due to falling ships.

Government

The Execuitive Branch of Kalkan is something like a board, with 2 representatives for each species, for a total of 12 representatives.
The Legislative Branch of Kalkan is a massive group, with nearly 400 thousand representetives. half are chosen by the provences, and half are chosen by the people, which work on laws. When a major law is proposed, the people get a chance to vote on it, or veto it, it then goes to the Legislative branch, who votes on it. Then it goes to the Leadership board.
