Basic Information
Anatomy
Large, feline creatures with four legs, no eyes, sharp teeth, and a long tail.
Genetics and Reproduction
They reproduce through mating, then live birth. Cubs are generally born after 5 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Maturing from young to adult takes 3-5 years, maturing from adult to elderly takes 18-20 years after reaching adulthood. They generally live around 5-7 years after that.
Ecology and Habitats
They mosly live in forests, with lots of smaller creatures. They act as predators towards those populations, in the process keeping their populations from getting too high.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are predators, and hunt when they need to eat. During the colder seasons, they will store prey in small, scattered caves. It is not uncommon for young or desperate copycats to steal from others.
Biological Cycle
During the colder seasons, they gain a thicker, lighter colored coat of fur, and during the hotter seasons, a thinner one. Young have dull claws, that grow sharper as they mature.
