The Elder Council of Yemildir
These five members of the council are the frontmost leaders of The Elven Republic. Members are elected by a vote, to which any adult elf resident of Edheltol is free to enter. They mostly govern the capital of Yemildir (Haram's Oak) and it's immediate surroundings, leaving mostly autonomous rule to other cities and villages.
As generally members of the council are associated with age and wisdom, this beautiful female chancellor is an unexpected sight in the council circle. To the unfamiliar eye she looks younger than the rest with her long blonde hair and spotless skin, when in reality she is among the oldest at nearly 650 years of age. This is due to her mixed sun-elf and high-elf heritage; sun elves age much more gracefully than even other elves. Cyrind Silverfrond
Relatively young high elf prodigy of magic, only 160 years old when the minimum age to be voted on the council is 150 years. Very popular with the public, though to the older population he sometimes comes off as arrogant and willing to break tradition. Angor Willowgrass
