Solitonia

The Year 841 is a time of Change. A thousand years lasting era comes to an end. Firearms have been introduced to most of the world, new continents have been discovered and nation states begin to form. This is a world where ideologies clash. Swords and shields meet guns and pikes.   In the middle of this stand the two countries of Vodrask and Ardonien. One of which holds on to obsolete traditions, the other embraces the progress and strives for conquest. Between these two bitter enemies lies the city of Dripol, separated by a giant river and connected only by a handful of bridges. These few meters of width are the space, where the entire war could be decided.   Meanwhile, two expeditions on both sides of the globe rediscover long forgotten creatures and technology, and so, in a last effort to turn the war's tides, the ancient mixes with the new.
