Solendor

Solendor, or the World Beneath the Stars in the language of the Elves is a cursed and broken place. The humans claimed dominance of it many tens of thousands of years ago. They drove out the Elder Races of Dwarves and Elves, the gnomes and halflings going into hiding within and without the human culture. At the height of human culture, their great power, their technology, was their undoing. It coupled with their unerring desire for dominance and they made war with great weapons upon one another.   Solendor is dying a slow death, doomed to eventually fall out of time from the Great Tree, winked out of existence once the last of the Beams holding it to reality fall. The God of the Elves, Corellon Larethian, watches this world he once helped create slip away to his great sadness. He could step in and save this one world... but at terrible cost to all those others his people inhabit and even the elven home world of Arvandor, the World Amongst the Stars. He cannot risk this and so must watch this lone world falter.   At least until one of his sons decides to lead some of his own family away from Arvandor to take another world for their own. Corellon sees an opportunity to give his wayward son his wish and to possibly save this world at the same time, and without the mass suffering his direct intervention would cause.   Sveron Liandroneth, son of Corellon, newly crowned Elvenking is sent to Solendor to restore life to this dying world and to bring its myriad of possible futures back into existence. So he is sent with all those Seldarine who would have left Arvandor. Cast out of their homeworld, they must now find their place in this strange new world.
