History

The Great Zimraka was a powerful warrior, who helped lead the colony of Daemon during the transitions of power. What made Them so unique was that They looked unlike most Daemon, and had the ambition of Asefa as well as the altruism of Zhulesha. This was the earliest instance of a Daemon who possessed multiple spiritual aspects-- before Them, most were either classified as a Dosra Daemon or a Zilra Daemon.

Zimraka's sickle was no different from Them: most blades forged by Daemon were either straight or slightly curved, but Zimraka's was hooked akin to a Gryphon's talon. This is very telling of how Zimraka ruled, as a warrior's blades are forged internally by usage of their Core, or lifeforce.

Significance

Zimraka's Sickle is a socially-important weapon from the times before The Egg of Tenebris. Their sickle is called a Sekovem, or a blade forged by pulling a Daemon's Core from their body using a hilt that is elementally-attuned to the "forger".

As an act of respect, all Lith forge a Sekovem during the night of Their inauguration. As this special blade pulls a bit of the Daemon's life essence from Them, it is a symbol of power, telling the Daemonic people that They will sacrifice Their life to protect Typhon's Teeth.
