Airship

sometimes known as Sky Darts

"Airships, the main way that people move across the world-- outside of using our own two legs, of course! If you've never ridden in an airship before, let me tell you: it's fantastic. Ever wanted to be amongst the clouds, but envy the lack of wings? This is where it's at!"
---Skylar, gushing about airships for the thousandth time

Power Generation

A feature common across all airships, the main method of generating power is the thin membrane of the ship's air bladder-- or rather, the material it is made of. A patented technology, the air bladder's fibers function similarly to solar panels, absorbing the Sol's rays as the ship flies above ground.

For transport vessels such as this one, a secondary backup power is used in the form of large, Ziel-infused engines, positioned below the air bladder. The type of Ziel made in these engines are of Pyre and Elektrik varieties, allowing it to primarily function as a lift vessel-- and secondarily, as a battery. With the way that Ziel works, it also attracts Ziel of those affinities, granting the vessel a boost of altitude if the engine's containment shields are open.

If either of the former two's methods fail, there is battery backup power (as well as a generator) provided in the power center, located in the ship's central chamber.

Propulsion

As mentioned previously, propulsion is provided via two vectors: the Ziel-infused engines, which provide a large amount of forward thrust, as well as Ziel-powered jets that dot the corners of the ship's stern. Most of the propulsion is provided by the engines, but in cases where its efficiency may falter, the jets allow for a quick boost of power.

Jet propulsion isn't commonly used in airships, as it drains resources considerably; rather, it is used as a last-ditch effort to avoid inclimate conditions, such as bad weather, low engine efficiency, or aerial threats such as Drakes and Gryphons.
