Sokoku

With the fall of the Dragon Queen and the sacking of Shiroishi, came the end of the age of the Bright Empress, the Akarui Kogo Jidai, and the beginning of the Aka Jidai, the Red Age.   Set on Sokoku, a continent far to the East, the age now passed saw the benevolent rule of an ancient Golden Dragon and her consort. In ancient times, they cast out a pair of red dragons, and gathered many of their metallic kin to forge a great kingdom.   For almost five centuries, they ruled compassionately, and the many races of Sokoku prospered. Now though, through treachery and slaughter, Aka Omo, and his mate, Shinko No Akuma, have returned at the head of an army of chromatic dragons and dragonborn.   Shiroishi, the capital, lies in ruin... but a band of adventurers have escaped the calamity. Made ronin by the murder of their queen, they find themselves wardens of a mysterious child.     Welcome to the Red Age.
