Mystery Beasts Quests

Mystery of where and which beast will strike next, to catch it and prevent more victims... each spot it goes, it leaves clues behind! [probably some kind of dinosaur or brom worm at first]
Maybe at first just go somewhere and then choose where to stand guard on the next night... then add traps at some spots and lures... then add people to help.
Lures and traps would need to be constructed with ressources, tools, etc
First there is the need to discover how to make it, find a teacher!
