Summer Camp Pledge 2022

Cytheron's Goals and Pledge for the 2022 Summer Camp: Creative goal: I want to begin world building for a my new-ish novel. Motivation: I'm excited to expand my world. To really find out what's in store for my story and the characters! Challenge Goal: Since this is my first year doing this and I don't know how busy I'll be, I will be trying to reach the Copper Badge (8 prompts).
Themes:
Expanse: The Copper theme. I want to focus on expanding and exploring my world. Since I just started, most areas are blank question marks. So I hope to flesh out some of them with these prompts.
Leadership: The Silver theme. For this theme I want to focus on building up the countries and factions that make up my world. I will probably direct my efforts more towards the pirate culture I am making than anything.
Discovery: The Gold theme. I am thinking of focusing on the Lost Kingdom/Country and maybe The Below for this. Or I could focus on the airships and the mechanism (crystals?) that gets them off the ground. Which would circle back to the Lost Kingdom. Also possibly how the Known World was discovered. Working on the history of the world, as well as, accomplishments type thing.
Monstrous: The Diamond theme. Here the main focus for me would be figuring out the impact of the changing Grand Currents on the Islands and Continents of the Known World. After that I want to focus on populating the fauna of my world. Since it's all in high altitudes (for the most part) and the sky, creatures would have adapted differently than we know IRL to survive.
Inspiration: (Will add more later!) Pirates of the Caribbean movies, obviously. Pirate culture, world building, especially the ships and fantastical elements.
Writing Plans: Hoping to do at least 3 writing sessions a week for this event. My schedule is very tight right now, unfortunately. Will probably take the prompts with me and hopefully sneak some progress in whilst doing other things :). I'll be using the Discord more than anything to interact with other Summer Campers.
Prep:
